it is totally and extremely yes !
Residing in a country that almost freed from those extreme poverty, political wars and terrorist attacks, i somehow putting myself in a hole, making a wall from the outside. Overlooking those people that fight for the food and even die for the sake of surviving. I did learnt about human trafficking back in my first year, but i gave it null interest. I thought it just some cases of kidnapping people, but what happens, really happened, going to happen is that more terrific than that. The bad people mostly are linked to organizations. That what make they are harder to fight. They lured innocent people with fake promises of jobs and money, then enslaved the people to different kinds of trafficking; prostitution (the most common one) or forced labor. It is a total modern form of slavery with women as the main victims, comprising over 80%. Once the human trapped into this, the escapism is not the best choice as the organization would threat to harm the family and yada yada. I used to watch this ' Taken' movie, where a young lady girl was abducted and being put into sex slavery. The dad was a CIA expert and he had to find her in 98 hours or else she will be nowhere to be found. Could you see how serious it is? Though it is just a movie, it is based on a true story of a real CIA agent. And last few days, i watched a video clip by the click five on human trafficking and it did touch me and make me realize on how serious it is. Watch the vid below, the song is good though.
